Hi, I am Pradeep Bhasin. My career has spanned close to two decades in the banking and financial services industry. I have had the good fortune of working and learning at leading organizations in India like Standard Chartered, ICICI Bank, ABN Amro Bank, HDFC Mutual Fund, Sundaram Mutual Fund, and WIshfin.com (a new age fintech).
During these years, I managed individual and corporate investment portfolios and interacted with financial advisors, investment heads, ace investors,fund managers across banks, mutual funds, and other financial institutions.
The biggest takeaways in this experience have been:
- Lack of money management skills among masses
- The growing imbalance between spending, saving, and investing, especially amongmillennials
- I feel there are few genuine and knowledgeable financial advisorswhom you can trust.
- Inability to achieve desired results from investingdue to biased advice, lack of research, and uninformed decisions.
That’s how the idea of Finrising was born. It is an attempt to pursue my passion for spreading financial literacy, sharing my experiences,enhancing money management skills, and disseminating knowledge about investing. The idea is to simplify, decode, and make “unbiased advice” accessible to all.
In this quest, I will be writing, speaking, uploading videos, and using social media to reach out. The mission is to transform one million lives by creating financial awareness; this is purely an education-oriented venture.
